Six Stylish Toddler Sandals

Last year, I found a pair of green sandals for Olivia on clearance for $4 at Target. She got so many compliments every time she wore them that it kind of became this inside joke with us. Who knew that the cheapest pair of shoes she owned would be the most popular?!

I went back this year to see if I could find the same ones in a larger size but no luck. So I set out to find ones that could compete with the mythical green sandals.

There are some seriously cute sandals out there for toddler girls this year! I’ve rounded up six of my favorites.

Embellished Flower Jelly Sandals at Gap, $16.95

Wakely Sandal at Stride Rite, $30

Flower Sandals at Gymboree, $32.95

Cherokee Jumper Sandal at Target, $14.99

Strappy Neon Sandals by Carters, $16

Navy Espadrilles by OshKosh B’gosh, $18

Tiny Toms!

How cute are these?! I swear, as Olivia gets older, the shoe selection just keeps getting cuter. If I’m not careful, I’m going to end up with a shoe obsession for both of us—but at least I can wear my shoes for longer than three months! Luckily, these Tiny Toms don’t break the bank (they’re cheaper than your average Stride Rite pair). Happy shopping!

 1. Burnt Chambray Tiny TOMS Botas, $36
2. Silver Karsen Tiny TOMS Classics, $29
3. Pink Academy Plaid Tiny TOMS Classics, $29
4. Burnt Chambray Tiny TOMS Classics, $29
5. Red Cord Fleece Tiny TOMS Classics, $29
6. Pewter Glitter Tiny TOMS Mary Janes, $36

“Pumped Up Kicks” for the Little One

I recently went searching for some good, sturdy toddler shoes to fit the little one’s rapidly growing chubby little feet. Surprisingly (or maybe not), decent kids shoes are hard to find! I hit Stride Rite first. They were having a clearance sale (2 for $30 for anyone in need of some new kids’ shoes!!) but were pretty much sold out of everything in her size. So I went to Baby Gap, Macy’s, Gymboree, Children’s Place, Target, all the usual stops. Nothing. Even Babies R’ Us left me wanting.

When I got home, I jumped online and started scouring all of the shoe sites. Zappos, Piperlime, Pediped, Stride Rite, ShoeBuy. . . And then I stumbled across 6pm.com. I had never bought anything from this site, but they had the Stride Rite shoes I wanted in O’s size for $34—the cheapest of all the sites. And seriously, how cute are these shoes?! Plus, I got a new pair of Nine West flats for myself for the same price! With free shipping, I really couldn’t argue with $73 for two pairs of shoes!

Have any good tips on where else to look for kids’ shoes? I’d love to hear them!

Fall Flats for Under $50

I can’t speak for all moms, but I struggle to carry my daughter, her bag for daycare and her car seat- all while teetering on 3-inch heels. Not to mention that I have to haul it all up a flight of stairs! It is a disaster waiting to happen. So it’s no surprise that my collection of flats has grown exponentially over the past year. I live in flats. Cute for the mall, comfy for walking the dog, and perfect for work. But I’m not trying to spend my entire paycheck on shoes, so I have pulled together some adorable flats that are all under $50 each- can’t beat that!

Christian Siriano for Payless ($34.99)

Express ($34.90)

Mossimo Supply Co. at Target ($19.99)

Etienne Aigner at piperlime.com ($49.50)

Ann Taylor Loft ($44.50)

Old Navy ($22)

Nine West at 6pm.com ($29.95)

Cozy Toes

With fall officially here, the mornings will start to get chillier and chillier. Give your cold feet some love with the Chaia Suede Moccasin Slippers from Target ($19.99). They are super soft and toasty warm inside, with rubber soles so you can easily run outside and grab the paper. My husband has a pair of men’s UGG slippers that I would always steal from him because they were so warm, but the lining on the inside of these moccasins feels the same as his UGGs, only for about $50 less!! If you live somewhere with four seasons, you need a pair of these ASAP.
